There isn't a "should" in this. It's up to whoever builds the site to decide what's best for their needs. Under normal circumstances, you wouldn't start a conversation in some random person's guestbook. But this is a demo site so *shrug*. On my site, I prefer having the whole conversation in one spot rather than this commenting back and forth between guestbooks that you have on myspace and such. You're free to do whatever you like on your sites.
