I keep on trying to get other content types to appear within the forum container, but they do not show. It's somewhat odd because advance forum has links to add other content types as part of the *post buttons.

But they're ineffective atm. I'm fairly certain that this would count as a bug, as any other category would accept more than one content type. What do you think Michelle?

Version?

The ability to add other content types to forums came in Drupal 6. It worked fine for me when I tested it on my D6 dev site.

Re: Other Content Types inside forum container?

Thanks, looks like I'm absolutely upgrading then.

Too bad about panels!

Re: Other Content Types inside forum container?

I just read this page:
http://groups.drupal.org/node/12500

Now I understand a bit more about the situation the forums are in. Originally my plan was to create a forum through views, but that was just too hard, and I toss in the hat.

But it sounds like D6 forums behave in a reasonable way, as long as I avoid the topic content type I should be able to get the full flexibility that I need.

Here's a bunch of stuff.

I'm doing a test post.
Hoping I can use this cool module.
Keep up the good work! Smile
