It's just a thing for adding one liners about what you're doing to your profile. Quick updates like "I am doing the dishes" and such.
Oh cool... so kinda like twitter. I always thought it was funny how twitter could be come so successful when all they did was cripple a blog by limiting post length to 140 characters.
Yeah, it's crazy what sort of thing can become popular.
One of the biggest problems with this module is the term dodge. Nobody understands it, and as a result it's a pain to use.
I haven't tried this but I think the stringoverride mod would fix this nicely.

It is a pretty goofy name. But, then, so is "Twitter" and that seems to have caught on. LOL
