I was wondering why User Profile Media items do not show up in the main User Account view?
Also, how do visitors access the Media section? The tab is only available to the account owner and admins.

Well, I suppose in a way it's more useful for people to see how APK behaves 'out of the box'.
Is it very tricky to get the media / photo fields to show up on the User Account page?
I had a go but couldn't find the right fields. Maybe I need to make a whole new mini-panel?
I'm quite new to this - but getting hooked fast!!
I think I just added the fieldgroup. It was a while ago, so I don't really remember.

Yes - it was just a case of adding the Media fieldgroup.
So for the benefit of anyone else needing this: I just edited the Userprofile Panel page - clicked one of the + buttons and selected content fieldgroup from the Node Context section. The media field appeared in the drop down list!
.....hmmm, suddenly things are starting to make sense!
I'm afraid that fell victim to the fact that this is an APK demo site. I reset the profiles back to stock at one point when I upgraded to the latest version and that meant I lost the customizations I had done. I just haven't had the time to spend on upkeep on this place other than de-spamming it.
