Is this just for testing or is this a permanent change? Just about to start implementing adv_profile and would rather leave out modules that you aren't going to use. long term. Thank you for all your efforts, and keep up the great work!

The changes I made aren't part of advanced profile. They were changes to this website. And, yeah, I plan on keeping user relationships and notifications.

Heh... Following me is a slow and winding path. Most of what I do with Drupal is hobby stuff so I can afford to play around and try different things and redo stuff.

I've just noticed that subscriptions appears to now be in a stable 2.0 release. I also seem to remember you mentioning problems with bugs in this module in the past. With that in mind, do you have any thoughts on these two modules, pros and cons etc? Your comparison of nodeprofile and bio has been invaluable!

FWIW, I've decided to switch back to subscriptions. But that comes down to familiarity with the maintainers. The two modules are so similar, it's really hard to say which someone should use. nodeprofile vs bio had clear "if you want this, use this" whereas subs vs noti just comes down to which you like better.

Forgive if I didn't see the 'RTFM' link anywhere, but in your spare time (I know, that is a laugher), do you have any docs or are you just installing modules and playing with settings?

I had planned to write more but just haven't had time. I haven't even had time to update this site in quite a while.

i just tested and sent myself something and nothing appeared. do you have pm setting turned off? does it require a mail server to be setup?
